Food for thought..................Dan.
We've all seen it. We all follow many other teams on Facebook and Twitter. In the years that I have been involved with the field, I have observed teams come and go, I have watched people rise to self proclaimed fame only to be gone the next month or year. I was sitting here tonight and thinking about 1 thing. If most teams put one forth of the effort into trying to better themselves, and place more effort into their investigations and techniques, and learn to listen instead of speaking......we would have advanced leaps and bounds. Instead......more time is spent trying to discredit someone else's orb. More time is spent accusing someone of photoshopping a pic. MORE TIME IS SPENT TRYING TO RALLY THE TROOPS FOR A LYNCHING INSTEAD OF DOING WHAT WE ALL SET OUT TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE. Whenever a new team posts a pic of an orb.....25 people and teams are right there to debunk and discredit and then the cutdowns begin. Most orbs can be attributed to dust and pollen, but in the grand scheme of things......WHO CARES if a team posts an orb and calls it a spirit or ghost? Is it any skin off of your paranormal ass to let somebody feel good for 1 second thinking they might have caught something? Can you really prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they in fact didn't? And even if they did just catch dust or pollen.....and they helped a family member find peace with believing Grandpa is watching......isn't that the real import thing? I would think so......I mean, people are going to believe what they want to anyhow......it isn't like we can 100% prove anything be scientific algorithm anyhow, Right? Most teams do not even realize what scientific algorithm is anyway. It was just proven 2 years ago at Fermilab in Batavia Illinois that E does not equal MC squared. I theory that most people have practiced as fact since the creation of the Atom Bomb.....All I am trying to say in this blog tonight is......Unity is still the number 1 goal. Unity is also no more than a pipe dream when you consider that the vast majority of paranormal people out there can't get along for over 5 minutes in an open field. We all have a simple common goal......to prove that there is something there after we walk through death's door. That should be the goal.....whether it be for personal reasons, or because you just want to help in some way. It is very disheartening to watch that most of our time and efforts are spent screwing with every other teams beliefs and what they post as evidence to them. I know that most people think I am a washed up has been anyhow.....and that's fine......but I still speak the truth as I see it.......I won't stop, and nobody gave anyone else the right to attack people for what they believe. When you attack another team or person for what they believe.....you are in essence attacking them. Our society is just as barbaric as it ever was, and with the invention of social networking......it is much easier for all of us to see it. Any time I see an orb that a team posts, and I think it might be dust......I don't message or call them out.....who the hell am I to do that? I am not a scientist, nor am I an orb expert. There are criteria that we follow for orbs, and just because it is our criteria......does make it right our wrong.....it just makes it ours, and that should be ok in the grand scheme of things. Think of it this way........Is my God better than yours? When you are praying for a miracle when somebody you love is sick or injured.......does it really matter?
