Ghosthunter Dan Norvell.  It is a title to a website, a facebook page, and a radio show host name I use.  Ghosthunter is a term used for something I do.  I received a message from a person that said, "How dare I HUNT something that may be confused or something that may not realize it is dead."  The person went on to say how disrespectful that she thought I was for walking into cemeteries for any reason, and that I was nothing more than a part of community of idiots.  I replied to her, and my question to her was if she thought that people that hunted coins were horrible people as well for calling themselves "coin hunters".  I also asked her if Bigfoot hunters were horrible people, and then I proceeded to ask her what the hell she was watching my page for.  This woman was clearly somebody that #1. Has too much time on her hands.  And #2. Looks for things to gripe about anywhere and everywhere she can find it.  I also added to my response to her if she was aware that the thought behind cemeteries was a beautiful and serene place for all to visit, respect, and enjoy for their historical significance and also to provide a peaceful place for our departed to rest.  I then thanked her for her interest in my page, and deleted and blocked her.  Hunting is thought by many to be the act of taking a weapon and running something down and killing it.....in some negative way.  Hunting feeds people, and it also keeps the population of certain species in check and prevents starvation in many instances.  Hunting for truths (which is what I am doing) is what the word GHOSTHUNTER means to me.  I am not trying to arm myself with a weapon and kill something that is already dead.  I am looking for answers, and with the cemeteries that I photograph, I am trying to share the history, artwork, and beauty that I see in them.  I've said it before, and I'll most likely say it many more times......If you can't be constructive, go bother somebody that will argue with you.  I don't have time.  Take care everyone.......Happy HUNTING!!

Dan
