Haunted Cemeteries

For Hundreds of years, people all over the world have made claims of haunted cemeteries and graveyards.  There are cemeteries with those claims all over America and I live literally 4 blocks from one that never disappoints us every time we visit it.  When we started out many years ago my thought process was that if you wanted to find ghosts, you needed to go where the dead people are.....those people are in cemeteries and graveyards.  Many people have different opinions on this but I have to be honest......we have had no problems finding and documenting paranormal activity at cemeteries and graveyards.  There are cemeteries that are immense such as Resurrection Cemetery in Chicago (The front gates are pictured here from when Larry and I visited) to small country cemeteries with only a few burials.  All could be paranormal hot spots.  I will say that we do feel somewhat apprehensive when posting possible evidence for the sheer fact that somebody always inevitably travels to one of these historic grounds and thinks that doing damage to the fragile stones might kick up activity.  It doesn't.  What it does do is gives all of us that respect these resting grounds a bad name.  Bloodspoint Cemetery in rural Boone County Illinois suffered 8000 dollars worth of damage to the stones in one night from people that might have had this thought process.  One of our best pieces of evidence to date was caught at that little cemetery right in my home town.  We also have experienced shadow figures, light anomalies, and disembodied voices, and also K2 hits that should not be there.  To be honest, cemeteries are some of the most haunted spots that one can visit as long as you remain respectful when visiting.  If you decide to do your own paranormal investigation......you just have to travel as far as your local cemetery in my opinion.  It has always served us well.  Just remember to leave the cemetery better than you found it.  Happy hunting.
