Conover Square - November 10th, 2018

On November 10th, 2018 The Ghosthunter Dan Norvell Team visited and attempted to investigate the historic and haunted Conover Square in Oregon, Illinois.  The first thing I want to say, is Steve and Josiah that run the ghost tours at Conover Square are professional and very helpful.  If it weren't for them.....we would have had no investigation that night whatsoever.  Larry and I have been plagued by equipment malfunctions for about a month now. (We are thinking of using sage on our equipment.)  We attempted to Livestream the investigation for Paranormal Warehouse on YouTube and it was not going to happen from the start.  We found out that YouTube has to maintain a certain quality of video for a Live broadcast and we could not maintain that quality from the location.  After trying for 3 hours......we finally decided to investigate.  This is where Steve and Josiah shined as the ghost guys of Conover.  They actually investigated with us, and in my opinion, enhanced the investigation exponentially.  Steve and Josiah led us to the hot spots in Conover Square and those spots did not disappoint.  We had shadow play, disembodied voices, and our team sensitive Tessa was touched on her arm.  I am not going to get into the history of Conover heavily here, but you can find further information at www.conoverghosts.com.  With personal experiences, I only had one.  We were in the basement and Steve was telling us about the activity that many people have witnessed there.  The room we were in was vast and the Rock River flows only about 30 yards out of the window in this room.  We were in pitch blackness with the only light being the IR light from Larry's camera he was filming our session with.  We did EVP and Ghostbox here.  We had a few responses, but what I had happen was a bit unnerving.  I felt a cold flow of heavy air pass by my left side and the room seemed to get colder than it already was.  Steve and Tessa could feel the difference in the coolness as well.  Conover had many different spots that had activity to offer, and I cannot wait to return and document all of them.  If you have the chance, I would suggest you go and experience Conover Square for yourself.  I can pretty much promise that you won't be disappointed.  Thanks again to Steve and Josiah for their help in making the night one to remember.
